  • TAXI SERVICES: Licensed taxi services are available in most tourist areas. Travelers can easily find taxis at airports, hotels, and popular tourist spots. In some cases, taxis may offer fixed-rate fares for specific routes. All Taxis have a Yellow Triangle in the Doors. The most common ones are in Red and Airport Cabs are in Orange.
  • CAR RENTAL AGENCIES: Many car rental agencies operate in Costa Rica, offering tourists the flexibility to explore the country at their own pace. Travelers must have a valid driver's license and adhere to local driving regulations.

After clearing immigration and customs, our team will be waiting just outside the terminal. How to Pay for Your Booked Service / Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Credit Card: A one-time payment link will be included in your booking confirmation email. This secure payment platform is provided by BAC San José, one of Costa Rica's local banks. Please note that the link will expire after 48 hours.
  • PayPal: You can select PayPal as your payment method and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.
  • Cash: Payment in cash is also accepted and can be arranged during the booking process or upon arrival.

  • Modification notified with more than 48 hours prior to departure = no modification charge.
  • Date modification notice with less than 48 hours prior to departure will be penalized according the cancelation policies.
    • Cancelation notice with more than 48 hours prior to departure = no cancelation charge..
    • Cancelation notice with less than 48 hours prior to departure including last minutes reservations (services booked within 48 hours) = 100% cancelation charge.
  • No show = 100% cancelation charge.
  • 10 minutes maximum waiting time at pickup.
  • Each passenger is allowed one carry-on and one item of luggage. The carry-on must stay with the passenger at all times, while the luggage item will be tagged and placed in the luggage compartment. CostaRicaTripGuide will not be responsible for loss or damage to carry-on items left unsupervised by the passenger. This includes carry-on items incorrectly stored with the luggage.
  • Transportation of additional luggage, or large items are not included in the price and must be arranged ahead of time with CostaRicaTripGuide. Each extra luggage will be charged, according to the rate existing.
