It depends on where you’re staying. Liberia is much closer to the Guanacaste beaches and the northern Nicoya Peninsula. San José is closer to Manuel Antonio, the Caribbean coast and the south Pacific. Compare the drive times above for the places on your itinerary.
At both airports your driver waits in the arrivals area with your name on a sign, after you clear immigration and customs, and helps with your luggage to the vehicle.
We recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance to guarantee availability, especially during the December–April peak season.
Private transfer fares are per vehicle. The price stays the same whether you travel alone or with your group, within the vehicle’s capacity.
