How does a boat transfer work?

Our boat transfers run on fixed daily schedules between docks. You share the boat with other travelers, and on many routes the crossing replaces several hours of driving around a lake or gulf.

Where exactly am I picked up and dropped off?

Each route serves a set list of docks and nearby hotels. You pick your exact pickup and drop-off point when booking — some points are included in the fare, and others add a small transfer fee that is shown before you pay.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Crossings can be delayed or rescheduled when conditions are unsafe. If we have to cancel a departure, we will contact you to move you to the next available crossing or arrange an alternative.

How much luggage can I bring?

Accepted Answer

Standard luggage is included, but space on the water is more limited than on a shuttle. If you are travelling with surfboards, bikes or oversized bags, contact us before booking so we can confirm the boat can carry them.
