There are so many great things I have to say about Erick and Transportation in Costa Rica, I don't know where to start! My girlfriends and I visited Costa Rica for the first time in mid-November 2013. Upon our arrival at San Jose airport, we were greeted by Erick, who was on time with a smile, friendly, and very professional. He insisted on carrying our baggage to the van, which was immaculately clean and comfortable. We hired him to drive us from the airport to Arenal Volcano, which was about a 3-hour drive. Since we arrived in the early morning, he took the liberty of driving us to have breakfast in a quaint town called San Ramon, where we had a typical Costa Rican breakfast and the best coffee we have ever tasted! On the way to Arenal, he was told us a lot about the country, culture, landmarks, and Ticos. The great thing about Erick was his willingness and ability to go above and beyond his call of duty. Although we hired him for transportation, he turned out to be a very resourceful and knowledgeable guide throughout our 10-day trip. There were numerous times I had questions and recommendations about restaurants, hotels, cities/sites to visit, things to do, etc, and I would email Erick and receive a response from him almost immediately. Knowing that we had access to someone we could trust, and who knew the country inside and out, made us feel very safe! Towards the end of our trip, we decided to book Erick again to take us from Manuel Antonio to San Jose. Although there were other transportation options available to us, we decided to go with Erick simply because his customer service was - and is - spectacular. I would highly recommend Erick and his services a hundred times over, and the next time we visit Costa Rica, we will be sure to call him!
